Started in 2015, the Grizzly Battalion JROTC Honor Society was developed to recognize the academic success of our cadets. The requirement to be inducted is to be a Cadet in good standing in JROTC and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0. Each year we inducted over 60 plus students. In 2020 the GPA requirement was raised to 3.5 to coincide with the National Honor Society requirements.

In school year 2019/2020, 105 of 334 Cadets were inducted into the JROTC Honor Society. We are proud to say that 31% of the Cadets in this program are members of the JROTC Honor Society. These Cadets are recognized by the Administration, faculty, and classmates each Wednesday by the yellow cord worn on the left shoulder of their uniform. Furthermore they will be involved in the planning of the military ball, the Battalion Organizational Day, and other major events conducted by the program.
