Requirements for Charmers

Attending Chaffin Middle School in Fall 2025 as a 7th or 8th grade student

Proof of physical examination by physician, must provide copy to coach prior to tryout practice (good for 15 months)

Must pass classes for 2024-2025 school year

Attendance by candidate and parent at mandatory meeting on February 6th

Complete all paperwork received at tryout meeting

Time Commitment 

Charmers are expected to be at all games and practices

Football Season - one game per week (Thursday)

Basketball Season - 2 games per week (Monday, Thursday)

PE Class - daily practice

Weekly after school practice - Monday, Thursdays as needed.

Camp - All team members MUST be at camp for the full time. 

2025 Camp Dates - August 11th-14th

Competition

Participation in competition will be mandatory for all 2025-2026 team members

Choreography - All team members MUST be at choreography clinic for the full time.

Attendance is required at all competitions (Saturdays)

Choreography Date - TBD

Competition Season - Mid October-November

Financial Responsibility

Yearly Dues:

New Members: $300

Returning Members: $265

Due by the end of the 2024-2025 school year

Paid in installments

Camp Fees: $200

Due by August
