Welcome! I am Mrs. Korth, fourth grade teacher at Luther Elementary. I am so excited to welcome you and your child to fourth grade! I hope you have had a relaxing and wonderful summer & enjoyed some time with your child(ren) and family. I am hopeful that we can work as a team to help your child and family be successful. A little bit about me! I was born and raised in a small town in southwest Wisconsin, called Avoca (near Spring Green). My grandma and grandpa owned a farm right outside of town, so I spent much of my childhood playing, exploring, and working there helping my dad raise cows, pigs, chickens, cats and dogs! I also have two younger brothers; Dakota and Montana. I attended UW-Whitewater, where I met my husband, Nathan, who is a middle school health teacher in Edgerton. We have two children, Annalee & Linnlee. Currently, we live in Fort Atkinson and we enjoy traveling, hiking, riding bikes, and playing basketball!
In my free time I enjoy crafting, playing the piano, going on walks, and reading. Teaching is an amazing career and there are so many parts I enjoy - creating lessons, being innovative with technology, building relationships with students, and experiencing learning with community of learners each day. I look forward to many adventures, fun experiences, and laughter this year!
Un poco sobre mí Nací y crecí en un pequeño pueblo del suroeste de Wisconsin, llamado Avoca (cerca de Spring Green). Mis abuelos tenían una granja a las afueras del pueblo, así que pasé gran parte de mi infancia jugando, explorando y trabajando allí, ayudando a mi padre a criar vacas, cerdos, gallinas, gatos y perros. También tengo dos hermanos pequeños: Dakota y Montana. Estudié en UW-Whitewater, donde conocí a mi marido, Nathan, que es profesor de sanidad en Edgerton. Tenemos dos hijos, Annalee y Linnlee. Actualmente vivimos en Fort Atkinson y nos gusta viajar, hacer senderismo, montar en bicicleta y jugar al baloncesto.
En mi tiempo libre me gusta hacer manualidades, tocar el piano, pasear y leer. La enseñanza es una carrera increíble y hay tantas partes que me gusta - la creación de lecciones, ser innovador con la tecnología, la construcción de relaciones con los estudiantes, y la experiencia de aprendizaje con la comunidad de estudiantes cada día.
