Hey Guys- All of this weeks lessons can be found on Google Classroom. We are going to begin reading a book called, "The Testing," by Joelle Charbonneau. Each day you will have about a chapter to read with a question that follows. I will provide the text and an audio recording each day. We will have quizzes over what we read. I hope all is well. I really really miss you all.
Monday April 6th- Read Chapter 1- no question with reading.
Tuesday April 7th- Read Chapter 2- answer one question
Wednesday April 8th- Read Chapter 3- no question with reading.
Thursday April 9th- Take Chapters 1-3 quiz on google classroom. Then read Chapter 4, part 1.
Friday April 10th- Finish reading Chapter 4. Answer one question.
This week you will start with the Weather Unit Sheet - Level 1. Please complete the activities in order. They build on each other. We are going to review elementary standards about weather and climate and hopefully that will help you gain confidence as you build to higher levels. Level 3 will be our middle school standard and depending on how long we are out, we may or may not get to it with everyone. Therefore, if you would like to work ahead and try and get to Level 3 then send me an email if you finish a level early and want to move on to the next one. You have to show mastery of the level you are on before I will let you move on to the next early. This week you are going to just be recording your observations about the weather each day. You can either do this daily from your personal observations, or I have shared a link where you can look at past data and get it done faster. You are then going to use this data to look for patterns. Don't worry there are graphic organizers to guide you through everything. I am making a copy of every organizer for you in the assignment in Google Classroom. You will turn them in there. View only copies are linked on the Unit Sheet which is linked above. As we have been doing lately, when you finish an activity, fill out the Google Form, so I know what is done and ready to be checked. It is attached to the Google Classroom assignment. If you have questions, email me, or attend the Google Meet on Thursday at 10.
Optional Timeline:
Hello students,
This week we will be wrapping up our Equations unit and starting Inequalities.
If you have any questions or concerns, please send me an email. I will also be available every Monday at 10 am via Google Meet. Miss you lots!

Hi all,
This week we will be focusing on the four types of Economic Systems. Each day, you will learn about one additional type of system and complete a short quiz.
As always, reach out to me if you are having questions... there is a lot of information about the economy on the news these days, so you may see some of these terms in use. These lessons are designed to take about 15 minutes to complete. SO.... use some of your free time to watch CNN10 and stay in touch with the news! If you have questions or want to catch up, remember I will be hosting a Social Studies Google meet on Wednesday at 10 am. Go to the calendar, open the calendar event and choose Join Google Meet to join in! Miss you!!
