I graduated from Illinois State University. 

I've been at Fort for 10 years and have taught 12 years overall. 

I took a two year break from teaching to get my master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. I quickly realized that teaching fit my personality more than sitting behind a lab bench all day. 

I love going to concerts, eating good food (that I don't have to cook) with good friends, and spending time in Colorado. 

My favorite sports team is the Dallas Cowboys. (Please don't hate me.) 

Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and finding fun ways to make memories with them. My husband and I have a 3 year old girl and a 18 month old boy.
