Assignment Expectations
Students will work on assignments from all of their classes and receive help/tutoring from the teacher in ELL lab.
Students will complete 75 minutes per week in our Summit K-12 program online.
If the student has completed all of his or her work, we will continue working on English grammar, writing, and reading.
Students are expected to organize their work and be ready with questions so the teacher can assist them.
The teacher will provide a welcoming space for students to learn.
The teacher will practice open communication with parents. Parents will receive updates on their student's performance with phone calls, emails, and conferences.
The teacher is committed to providing students with quality instruction and guidance for learning.
Parents and guardians will help the teacher to get to know their child.
If there is something going on at home that is impacting their student, parents and guardians will notify the teacher. The teacher does not need details, but she does need to know if a student is stressed.
Parents and guardians will work with the school to do what is best for their children.
