Labor Day:  Monday, September 1st - NO SCHOOL! Enjoy a long weekend.

Spirit Wear Fridays - Husky Tradition has our pack dressing up in spirit wear and showing of our school colors on Fridays! One less decision to make each week: on Fridays, we wear Haw Creek Blue!

CFA Biscuits: Friday, September 5th- PTO sells Chick Fil A Biscuits one Friday each month. Purchases are available through the PTO Website and orders close the Wednesday prior to the delivery day. PTO Fundraiser Launch: Monday, September 8th - More information will be shared with all families from PTO as we launch our big annual fundraiser to support expanding learning opportunities for our students on campus. Stay tuned for the details!

September 11th Day - Haw Creek remembers September 11th as we wear Red, White, and Blue to commemorate the 24th Anniversary of 9/11.

King of Pops: Friday, September 12th - PTO also partners with King of Pops-Cumming to sell popsicle treats for students (delivered during recess) each month. Purchases are available through the PTO Website and orders close the Wednesday prior to the delivery day. Want to make life a little easier? National Arts in Education Week, September 14th-20th - Haw Creek will celebrate our arts programs this week!

National IT Professionals Day, September 16th - Living in a digital world, our school would be LOST without our IT Professionals! Check out our social media post and Husky Herald messages as we celebrate these professionals who keep us connected and running smoothly!

Constitution Day, September 17th:  Haw Creek students celebrate the commemoration of the day the Constitution was signed by wearing red, white, and blue. 

SOAR Bus Transportation Event: September 17th  - SOAR stands for Safe, Orderly, and Respectful and is the core of our Forsyth County Transportation's mission. On September 17th, all students will learn about bus safety and bus procedures so they are ready for field trips and also have good reminders for our daily bus riders.

Husky of the Month (HOTM): September 18th -  Each month, students acknowledged by their peers for demonstrating the 7 Habits and Pause for PAWS expectations throughout their days will be honored in a ceremony. Parents will be contacted prior to this event if your child has been selected this month.

PTO Fundraiser CLOSES: Friday, September 19th - We will wrap up the fundraiser today! Thanks for your support!

Fall Break:  September 22nd - September 26th -  Enjoy the week with your families! We will see you back on Monday, September 29th!

Chalk the Walk -September 30th - PTO Chalk the Walk is an opportunity for families to come to campus and write encouraging chalk messages on our sidewalks as we celebrate Walk to School day on October 1st.
