Nicole Martinez

Nicole Martinez is a first-year Counseling Psychology Ph.D. student at Fordham University. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Child and Youth Studies from the University of San Francisco. Committed to advancing equitable behavioral health care, Nicole focuses on supporting adolescents, families, and marginalized communities through culturally responsive, community-driven services.
As a first-generation Colombian American, Nicole’s upbringing shaped her dedication to advocacy and social justice. Her clinical experience includes supporting children on the Autism Spectrum through applied behavioral analysis, providing crisis intervention and diagnostic assessments, and facilitating psychoeducational programming. She worked as a program coordinator at a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to culturally attuned resources and educational opportunities. Nicole’s research contributions span psychophysiological data collection, intervention development, program evaluation, and community-centered curriculum design at institutions including the University of San Francisco, UC Irvine, and Bright Seed International.
Dedicated to fostering the socio-emotional growth of youth and the well-being of families, Nicole is committed to expanding health access for youth and families of color, and advocating for public policies that promote equitable, culturally inclusive services for all. She looks forward to stepping into her role at CCMH to make a meaningful impact and serve the Bronx community.
