CCMH Mission

Eliminate Barriers to Care

The CCMH program is a virtual mental health program run by the Graduate School of Education at Fordham University. It aims specifically to provide free telehealth mental health services for Black, Latino, and immigrant children and youth in the Bronx, a group that often has divergent and complicated needs and issues, especially amid the pandemic. This project is funded by the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.

Our project is made possible by generous funding from The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.

CCMH is honored to be selected as The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation's grantee. Through this partnership and the work of countless organizations across our state, we are working to support vulnerable communities in each corner of New York. Specifically, this grant will allow CCMH to continue offering free virtual counseling, group counseling, and educational workshops to Black, Latino, and immigrant school-age children in the Bronx. Our mission remains to help them develop coping skills during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has had a disproportionately negative impact on the mental health of communities of color.
