Anton is General Manager for Foodlink Advocacy Co-operative—a talent pool of agribusiness experts and practitioners with a common passion working towards poverty eradication through inclusive and sustainable development in Philippine food systems. Combining his experiences teaching Psychology and development work emphasizing on the use of business models to address poverty, Anton provides technical advisory to both local and international organizations on inclusive and sustainable agribusiness, food and agri-value chain analysis and development, as well as food systems research.
Frequently a collaborator with the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD), Grow Asia and the Philippines Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture (PPSA), Anton also serves as the In-Country Coordinator for the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) – funded, Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) – managed project “Agribusiness-led inclusive value chain development for smallholder farming systems in the Philippines” also known as “IVC Philippines”.
