This is one of the most common forms of Abuse in the acting industry. Children's wages from their acting careers can be used by their parents and other people in their life. Their funds can also be mismanaged by talent agents. Sometimes they don't realize that their money is being misused and they find out when they come of age and they have no money to support themselves. 

Verbal abuse in the child acting industry happens when adults yell, insult, or threaten young actors. It can hurt a child’s confidence and make them feel scared or worthless. Many child actors have spoken out about being treated badly on set by directors or coaches.

Mainly directors, producers and other people on set touch or act inappropriately toward young actors. Sadly, some people in power have taken advantage of kids who were just trying to follow their dreams. Many former child actors have come forward later in life to speak out about the abuse they experienced and how it affected them.
