Hi I'm Marin Herlihy and my social justice project is the abuse in the child acting. Many kids in the acting industry have faced abuse while working on TV shows and movies. Some were treated badly with words, while others were hurt in more serious ways by adults who had power over them. These young actors were just trying to follow their dreams, but instead, some were taken advantage of or ignored when they spoke up. My website is meant to shine a light on this problem, share real stories, and help spread awareness. I want people to understand what really happens behind the scenes and how we can protect child actors better in the future.
