At Rosenow, all students are valued and welcomed to learn in a school where staff sets high expectations and believes that each and every student can achieve. Staff and students know that it only takes ONE person, ONE act of kindness, ONE moment of persistence to make a difference, and anyone who enters Rosenow can feel the POWER of ONE.
During the 2018/2019 school year, instructional coaches, Mary Rosenthal and Shannon Schultz, partnered with the staff of Rosenow Elementary as the WI DPI UDL grant focus school. Principal Mike Mockert and the Rosenow staff whole-heartedly jumped on board with learning and implementing the principles of UDL. School staff participated in on-going professional development throughout the duration of the school year with the grant implementation trials occurring during the Spring semester.
