Option 1: Fully Remote
Option 2: Hybrid (two days per week in person, three days per week remotely)
February 15, 2021: "Pivot" - Two new options provided for families
Option 1: Fully Remote
Option 2: In Person - Five Days Per Week
The Fond du Lac School District has returned to full in person instruction for the 2021/2022 school year.
At the beginning of the 2020/2021 school year, the Fond du Lac School District embarked on a three-year journey known as ICS (Integrated Comprehensive Systems for Equity). The ICS modules were developed by Dr. Colleen Capper (University of Wisconsin Madison) and Dr. Elise Frattura (University of Wisconsin Milwaukee). Based on more than 45 years of research, the ICS process supports school districts in creating a shift from a deficit model to an assets-based system for all students.
As we continue to grow and learn with the ultimate goal being to Co-Plan to Co-Serve to Co-Learn, we acknowledge the intersection of equity with the Universal Design for Learning framework. We also honor that our definition of "inclusion" continues to evolve. We now consider the importance of ALL students having ACCESS to the learning opportunities occurring each day.
