Lexical Relations must be added in FLEx. If you find words that are related to each other but don't have access to edit in the Main FLEx Storehouse, you can leave a comment in Language Forge.
For FLEx users, open the Chinook FLEx Database on your computer
At the start of your work session, complete a Send/Receive
Under the "Sense" section of the entry in FLEx
Find and click the triangle to the left of "Lexical Relations"Â
Choose which type of relation you want to add
Search for the word (you may have to change the language)
Select the word and click "Add"

You can add new words through the Lexical Relations button in FLEx
Choose a Lexical Relation as above, then click "Create..."
A new box will open that allows you to create a new word
Add a gloss to the word and a category (optional)
Then select "Create"
If you don't see the type of Lexical Relation you are looking for, you can create them in FLEx
Click the triangle left of "Lexical Relations," then "Create New Lexical Relation..."
Click "OK" in the box that appears
FLEx will take you to a different screen
Enter the information about the new Lexical Relation
Click the green back arrow in the top left corner (near "File")
Add the new relation to the word just like you would add others
You can add multiple words to most lexical relations
Click the three dots to the right of the existing relation
Search for related words
Order the words by right clicking a word
Select "Move Right" or "Move Left"
Additional Lexical Relations can be added to an entry by clicking the triangle to the left of the "Lexical Relations" field
