The best way to get a hold of me is through email. Please be patient with me since it is difficult for me to respond during class time as I am assisting students, but I promise to always respond. Or message me through the REMIND app.

Q: What if my child can not upload an assignment?
A: Please refer to our district technology resource HUB CLICK HERE
Q: What if my student is late on an assignment?
A: There is always grace the first time. Please have the student reach out to me. Upper elementary grades are the perfect opportunity for students to learn personal responsibility and time-management. These are life-skills that they will need in any future career. My main rule...is to have assignments turned in no later than Friday. Late assignments past Friday can incur a deduction in overall points. Please review our school handbook regarding the most up to date assignment policies. I will not grade LATE assignments past the deadline posted in the handbook.
Q: Where can I find the assignments my students are responsible for?
A: Students will also have access to their Google Classroom Calendar that they will quickly learn to use. If you or your child have a mobile device or tablet, I highly recommend you install the Google Classroom app and google calendar app to help with reminders. Student participation in homework is recorded in Powerschool as a completed or NOT completed grade. Homework is there to reinforce learning and to see if your students can successfully complete assignments WITHOUT help. If your students are struggling with homework, please have them reach out to me for additional help. Advocating for misunderstandings is a LIFE-SKILL that begins in the upper elementary grades. I will ALWAYS change it to completed if they come and see me for help.
