Band Binder Set-up Instructions
& Supply List
Students should have their band binder, with all materials, set up and ready by
August 15, 2025
Required Supplies:
Case Name Tag – Labeled on the handle with a luggage tag or on the side of the case itself.
Black 3-Ring Binder (1 inch) - folders are not allowed!
5 Dividers – Labeled as: 1. Information, 2. Warm-Ups, 3. Rhythms, 4. Music, 5. Notes
Method Book required for grade level
Pencil Bag (3 ring compatible)
4 Pencils
4 Highlighters – A package of at least 4 colors including pink, green, yellow, and blue.
Instrument supplies – Anything instrument specific
Tuner/Metronome – Korg Tuner (TM60BK) with metronome
How to Set Up Your Binder:
(This is also the order in which things go in your binder)
The front of the binder should be labeled with the student’s name. The label is supplied by the director.
Method book should be in the LEFT front pocket, labeled with your name.
A Pencil Bag should be the FIRST thing clipped into the binder. Inside the bag should be 4 pencils, 4 highlighters, and tuner/metronome.

Notes/Extra Paper (include notebook paper please)
For students in private lessons, the Private Lesson Assignment Book should be in the back pocket of your binder if your private teacher uses that book.
