In Dramatic Play students are able to create, explore, pretend, work on social skills, increase their vocabulary and language skills, further develop social skills, and to experience how to take their turns. Dramatic Play centers allow the children to further develop their imaginations. Dramatic play in our Reggio Inspired programs are areas that are frequently changed based on the students interest.
Students engaged in a Jurassic World environment. It allowed them to imagine what type of environment dinosaurs lived in and who they interacted in.
Students were able to play ice hockey and explore a winter wonder land. They learned how to play hockey with their classmates.
Students were able to explore a fall scenery where there was pumpkins and scarecrows. Allowing them to pretend that they are in a pumpkin patch.
Students pretended to be camping and roasting marshmallows.
Students learned about the planets and our solar system. They pretended to be astronauts and explore the solar system.
Students explored bees and what it takes to be a bee keeper.
Students were creating play based around owning a pizza shop. They would pretend to make the pizza, bake the pizza and sell the pizza.
