Each year, Ecole McTavish stages a full musical theatre production right here on our beautiful stage! Students in Grades 7-12 are invited to audition for roles in the production, or can also get involved in the backstage action.

Beauty and the Beast (2012), Annie Jr (2013), Seussical Jr (2014), The Wiz (2016), Aladdin Jr (2017), Into the Woods (2018), Matilda (2019), Mamma Mia! (2021), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (2022), and Mean Girls: High School Edition (2023)

Students interested in helping behind-the-scenes can help with set design, sound, lighting, and stage management! In Grades 10-12 students can earn credit for their work through the course Technical Theatre, and will look deeper into learning the technology of the lighting and sound systems. 

Each year we also stage a Dinner Theatre production as a fundraiser for our international travel. Students in all grades are invited to be a part of the performing cast, along with our Concert Band and Jazz Band. In 2018 the theme was "Throwback Thursday and Flashback Friday" featuring hits of the past, and in 2019 our theme was "A Night on Broadway". The three-course meal is prepared and served by our high school Culinary Arts students!
