Log entries are used to document student behaviour, attendance, parent contact, and discipline. As soon as you submit the log entry you can no longer edit or delete it, only PowerSchool administrators can modify or delete log entries. Log entries are only visible to the teacher who created them and PowerSchool administrators.
Embedded Files
1. Open PowerTeacher HERE
2. Choose the Student Information Icon for the course.
3. Choose the student's name from the sidebar.
4. Choose Log Entries from the Select Screens dropdown.
5. Previous log entries you have created for the student will be visible. Click the NEW button to create a new log entry.
6. Enter the Date of the log entry, choose the Log Type, enter a Title, type your entry (hint, if you sent an email copy and paste the email), then click SUBMIT.
*** Important Note: Do not use other students' names in log entries. Refer to them using their first initial or Student 2/3/4... and gender-neutral pronouns.
