The Organizing Committee would like to inform participants that the original plan for the social dinner has unfortunately been cancelled due to unexpected major maintenance works on the Monte di Mezzocorona cable car. The closure, announced after the conference website was prepared, will remain in effect until the end of 2026, making access to the planned venue impossible.
We apologize for this unforeseen change and are pleased to offer an alternative that we believe will provide an equally memorable experience.
The BREBCA 2026 Social Dinner will take place at PalaRotari, the visitor centre of the Mezzacorona Winery, one of the leading producers of TrentoDoc sparkling wine.
The evening will begin with a guided visit to the winery, offering participants an overview of the traditional method used for the production of TrentoDoc, from the preparation of the base wine and blending (cuvée) to bottle fermentation, ageing on the lees, riddling and disgorgement.
Following the visit, participants will enjoy an aperitif featuring TrentoDoc sparkling wine, before gathering for the conference dinner in the Sala del Re, where regional cuisine and local wines will provide an opportunity to conclude the meeting in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
Although the cable car will not be operating during the conference, participants interested in hiking may have the opportunity to join an informal excursion to Monte di Mezzocorona, depending on interest and weather conditions.
The hike follows a scenic mountain trail with approximately 700 metres of elevation gain and requires about two hours of uphill walking. It is therefore recommended only for participants with a reasonable level of fitness and appropriate hiking footwear.
The Skywalk
Easily reachable from the cable car arrival point in just a few minutes’ walk. A 17-meter long cantilevered panoramic walkway, with a glass floor at its most exposed point, lets you feel the void beneath your feet and offers 180° views over the vineyards. The skywalk it’s illuminated at night, making it perfect for an evening stroll.
The Suspension Bridge
The bridge is reached by a forest path in about 15 minutes from the mountain station. A 123-meter-long steel rope bridge, suspended at an altitude of around 920 m, stretching over the Val della Villa. At its central point, you’ll be walking with about 120 meters of void beneath you.
