The Edmund Mach Foundation
The Scientific Meeting will take place at Fondazione Edmund Mach in San Michele all’Adige, Italy. Founded in 1874, the Foundation is an internationally recognized center for education, research, and innovation in agriculture, food, and environmental sciences. Its 14-hectare campus includes advanced laboratories, greenhouses, classrooms, and an experimental farm, set within a broader landscape of 120 hectares of cultivated land and 65 hectares of forest and meadow. This unique integration of teaching, research, and technology transfer makes it an inspiring setting for scientific exchange.
San Michele all'Adige
San Michele all’Adige is a charming village in Trentino, northern Italy, known for its historic monastery and as the heart of the renowned Piana Rotaliana. This fertile plain, described by Goethe as “the most beautiful vineyard garden in Europe,” is famous for its vineyards and production of Teroldego Rotaliano, a distinctive local red wine.
