Children with disabilities who need specially designed instruction and related services are called exceptional students. The special help they are given at school is called exceptional student education (ESE). The purpose of ESE is to help each child with a disability progress in school and prepare for life after school. ESE services include specially designed instruction to meet the unique needs of the child.

If you have questions about our Exceptional Student Education services please contact our K-12 ESE Customer Support Center: 407-513-3354

The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program provides services to English Language Learners (ELLs). ELLs are students who come from homes and backgrounds where languages other than English are spoken and who require specialized or modified instruction in both the English language and in their academic courses. We also offer many translation services for our families to facilitate communication between school and home. If you have questions about our ESOL program or translation services, please contact our District Literacy Coach for ESOL.
