It is extremely important that you complete the "Verify your Certificate Number" by clicking on the FLHSMV link and filling out the information to pull up your DETS or TLSAE course completion certificates and check your certificate information on your course completion receipt. If you would like one, take a picture of or print a copy of your course completion receipt to bring with you to the licensing office.
Note: As you complete the certificate verification steps and Class E Knowledge Exam registration step, it is important that you double-check your social security number, the spelling of your name, your birthdate and any other information that you enter. If the information that you enter here does not match the other identifying documents (i.e. birth certificate, social security card etc.), your course completion certificate and Class E Knowledge Exam results will not be valid when you visit the licensing office, and you will have to retest in person or may be told that your DETS certificate or TLSAE is not on file in their system.
