Private tuition

Private tuition, who needs it?

The more familiar everyone is with their instrument, the more fun it will be, when we play together. That is why we ask students in Training Band, Concert Band, Beginner Strings and Continuing Strings to have weekly 1⁄2 hour private lessons in their instrument.

This is not a requirement for choristers in Junior Choir and Senior Choir, although everyone can choose to have voice lessons.

Please note: although they take place at school, everything to do with private lessons is organised between the tutor and the parent or carer. Fees, billing method, lesson times, and cancellation policies are outside of the school’s or the Music Program's scope and responsibility. This means that if your child is absent on the day of their lesson - even if this is because of a school excursion or event - you must notify your tutor directly.
