Teachers at MHS provide students with multiple opportunities for success. They include the following:
Tutoring before and after school (contact teacher for tutoring schedule).
Late assignments may be turned in within a 4 ½ week grading period for a maximum grade of 70.
Tests can be retaken within five days of getting it back from the teacher for a maximum grade of 70.
Credit Recovery opportunities during Summer School.

Berry College Viking Tutoring is a student-run organization on Berry's campus, made up of students from various disciplines who are passionate about their subjects. GaTutor Program Available to All High School Students
Georgia Virtual Learning proudly introduces GaTutor, a new program to offer free, flexible tutoring options to students in grades 9-12. GaTutor provides personalized support, with one-on-one tutoring available outside regular school hours in 19 core courses from mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies. Our dedicated team of over 85 certified educators is committed to helping students reach their educational goals. Second 4 ½ weeks - November 10, 2025
Second 9 weeks - December 15, 2025
Third 4 ½ weeks - February 2, 2026
Third 9 weeks - March 9, 2026
