Coach Sally Echols - Academic Interventionist
Sally Echols is a former graduate of Model High School. She furthered her education at North Georgia College and State University where she gained a degree in Health and Physical Education. She returned to Floyd County after graduating and has been teaching and coaching in Floyd County for 23 years. Coach Echols also obtained her Masters in Administration and Educational Specialist in Leadership both from Lincoln Memorial University.
Coach Echols is excited about her tenth year as the academic interventionist and the opportunity to encourage, motivate and help get students on track for success in high school and beyond!
Mrs. Kelly Dooley - Academic Interventionist
Kelly Dooley is our "math expert" in study skills. She has over 30 years of teaching experience in math education, first at Cass High School and then here at Model. She received her undergraduate math degree from the University of West Georgia, her Master's degree in Secondary Math Education from Jacksonville State University and her Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. She has taught at multiple grade levels including honors, regular ed, and inclusion math classes. This is her third year as an academic interventionist at MHS. Mrs. Dooley is looking forward to this new setting and helping students reach their potential by earning credits toward graduation.
She is helping coach our competition cheer team again this year.
