At FAME, we don’t just teach students about film and media—we empower them to be content creators. Our students produce social media shows like FCS Flash News, FAME or FAIL, and The Teacher’s Lounge, reaching real audiences across Instagram and YouTube. From scripting and filming to editing and posting, they gain hands-on experience in digital storytelling, audience engagement, and building a personal brand—essential skills for the modern media landscape.
FCS Flash News is FAME’s flagship program. FAME students deliver fast-paced headlines from five high schools, creating quick, engaging updates for students, families, and the community. By collaborating across schools, students learn teamwork, storytelling, and technical media skills while keeping local audiences informed and connected. This program not only gives students real-world experience in journalism and production but also strengthens ties between schools, families, and the broader community—showcasing the power of student voices in action.
FAME students put their creativity to the test in FAME or FAIL, a fast-paced social media game show that keeps the students on their toes. Through fun challenges and trivia, and TikTok-style trends, students build confidence, teamwork, and real-world media skills while engaging their peers, families, and the community. This program highlights the value of taking risks, learning through experience, and turning every attempt—success or failure—into a story worth sharing.
The Teacher’s Lounge is an innovative Instagram show launched in 2025 and hosted by Mr. Williams. Crafted to give teachers “professional development in disguise,” each episode blends practical classroom strategies, real-world insights, and inspiring stories into a fun, fast-paced, 21st-century format. With a mix of humor, creativity, and student-produced content, the show engages educators while offering fresh ideas, actionable tips, and a sense of connection in today’s ever-changing educational landscape.
