About Mrs. Poole

I was born and raised in Southern California.  I moved my sophomore year of high school and graduated from a small town in Southern Arkansas.  After graduation, I moved to Summerville, Georgia and have been here ever since!  I attended the University of West Georgia where I received my Bachelor's degree in Special Education.  I received my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Berry College.  In May 2023, I received my Dyslexia Endorsement from Shorter University. I attend Summerville First Baptist Church.

I married my husband, Michael in 2006 and we have two sons.  Everett is 14 years old and is in eigth grade at Armuchee High School.  Grayson is 10 years old and attends Armuchee Elementary School.  We enjoy traveling and exploring the United States. We also enjoy Georgia Football and watching the Atlanta Braves!

This year is my 18th year teaching and my 9th year in Armuchee Schools.  GO TRIBE!  I believe that teaching is my true calling and I thoroughly enjoy every minute of it.  Our class is amazing and the students put a smile on my face everyday!
