This certificate opens the doors to a wide variety of personally and financially rewarding flying opportunities. Commercial pilots are able to fly passengers for hire, transport cargo, or pursue a career as a flight instructor, charter pilot, airline pilot and much much more. The sky is the limit!

Flight Test Prep Academy have a number of the perfect complex aircraft for any pilot looking to achieve their commercial certificate. The Cessna 172 G1000 is our most used TAA aircraft, perfect for Commercial Training without breaking the bank. Recent changes by the FAA make this Technically Advanced Aircraft the best plane for Commercial Training. Commercial students are also eligible for a 10 hour block rate of just $165 an hour!

Assuming candidates meet the minimum hour requirements, this is a ballpark of what to expect to pay during Commercial flight training:

Cessna 172 G1000 GFC700 10 hrs.  $200/hr $2000

Flight Instructor 15 hrs $75/hr $1125

Commercial Training Kit/Materials $399 $299

FAA Knowledge Exam $165 $165

Aircraft Rental -Checkride $300 $300
