Upload a digital copy of your artwork with this google entry form by October 15th ➡️ https://forms.gle/vF2e7Mr6Td1XhDqr8 (ALL Categories).
Submit your physical artwork with respective Entry Form (from the Student Packet) attached to it to our school's front office by October 15th (Visual Arts, Literature & Photography categories ONLY).

Entrega tu obra de arte física, con la forma completa (del paquete para estudiantes) y adjunta, en la oficina de la escuela el 15 de Octubre o antes (categorías de Artes Visuales, Fotografía y Literatura SOLAMENTE!).

Explore the Arts and Express Yourself

National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts which boost student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. This 50+ year-old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.

Students participate in the appropriate division for their grade:

Primary (TK - Grade 2)
Intermediate (Grades 3-5)
Middle (Grades 6-8)
High (Grades 9-12)
Accessible Arts (All grades welcome)

The Accessible Arts division offers modified rules and guidelines for students with disabilities, who may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504, to participate in the Reflections program.*Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504 may enter in the Accessible Arts division or grade division most closely aligned to their support needs.

Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories:

Dance Choreography

Film Production

Literature

Music Composition

Photography

Visual Arts

Student winners from the local (school) level have the opportunity to move up through their council, district and state PTA programs to the national level.

National Reflections winners are announced in May and celebrated throughout the following year.

Explora las Artes y Exprésate

El PTA nacional tiene un compromiso desde hace años con la educación artística. El programa Reflexiones brinda oportunidades de reconocimiento y acceso a las artes que impulsan la confianza y el éxito de los estudiantes en las artes y en la vida en general.

Cada año mas de 300,000 estudiantes desde preescolar hasta el grado 12 crean obras de arte originales en respuesta a un tema seleccionado por los estudiantes. Este programa de mas de 50 años, les ayuda a explorar sus propios pensamientos, sentimientos e ideas, desarrollar la alfabetización artística, aumentar la confianza y encontrar amor por el aprendizaje que les ayudará a tener mas éxito en la escuela y en la vida en general.

Los estudiantes participan en una division apropiada para su grado:

Primaria (Pre-K - Grado 2)
Intermedia (Grados 3-5)
Media (Grados 6-8)
Alta (Grados 9-12)
Artes Accesibles (todos los grados son bienvenidos)

La division de Artes Accesibles ofrece reglas y pautas para estudiantes con discapacidades, que pueden recibir servicios bajo IDEA o ADA: Sección 504, para participar en el programa Reflexiones.*Los Estudiantes que se identifican como discapacitados y pueden recibir servicios bajo IDEA o ADA: La Sección 504 puede ingresar en la división de Artes Accesibles o en la división de grado que mas se ajuste a sus necesidades de apoyo.

Los estudiantes envían sus obras de arte en una o todas las categorías de arte disponibles:

Coreografía de Baile

Producción Cinematográfica

Literatura

Composición Músical

Fotografía

Artes Visuales

Los estudiantes ganadores a nivel local (escuela) tienen la oportunidad de competir con otras escuelas del OUSD, 4to Distrito, del Estado y hasta nivel Nacional.

Los ganadores del concurso a nivel Nacional se anuncian en Mayo y se celebran durante el año siguiente.
