This is the time of year when we find more cases of lice. Please make sure to review with your child to never share hats, headbands, hair ties, any other type of headgear, or brushes with anyone. Also, remind them to avoid head to head contact with anyone. Please check your child frequently for lice (especially if they are reporting feeling itchy or if they feel something crawling on their head). Lice eggs are tiny yellow, brown, or tan dots, not easily removed, that are found on the hair shaft near the scalp. If you find either please contact your physician for medical advice and advise the school nurse as soon as possible.
