Music Club's First Presidential Elections!
On the 19th of February 2020, FLAME Music Club held its first presidential elections. The election committee consisted of the EC members, Pooja and Adithya as the active members and Kavish, Pragya and Dr. Razmi. The candidates- Ashna, Liz and Swagata presented their plans for the club and their plans to make the club better for all of you. The candidate was elected via signed chits. After counting all the votes, the President of 2020-21 was announced. CONGRATULATIONS Swagata Das !!! Hope you have a wonderful time and make this club better!

Online elections were conducted for the selection of this year's music club EC. Among the active members, the participants were Abhishek Dixit, Adithya Nair, Ashna Arora, Ankita Chandar and Bhartrhari Srinivasan. They were asked to send in videos of themselves talking about the reasons why they wanted to take up this leadership position and the active members were asked to judge based on these videos. The voting process that took place using a google form stated through its calculations that Abhishek Dixit, Adithya Nair and Bhartrhari Srinivasan had won the position of Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively. Congratulations! Hope you guys have a great time working for the club.

A fun yet spooky event, FMC collaborated with FLAME Fashion club to organize Flame's first open mic event. The theme of the music event was "something you are scared of". People performed a wide range of songs while being dressed in their spookiest outfits. At the end of the event, FFC chose the "best dressed"!

An event held for celebrating music from queer artists where performers sang various songs of their favourite queer artists which was followed by a public discussion about the queer representation in the music industry.

Club members came up with a smashing mashup for the closing ceremony of FLAME Kurukshetra Fest 2021. Performers included Vice President Abhishek Dixit, General Secretary Adithya Nair and club members Ankita Chandar, Anupa Bisarya and Govind Thampi.

The EC bid FMC 2020-21 farewell with a final music open mic. Everyone was open to join and got an audience of 40+ people. There were many live and prerecorded performances ranging from pop music, Bollywood to classic rock. The event ended with a few words from the current FMC EC.

The new academic year's club elections was conducted where three students pitched their ideas that made them fit for the next president of FMC. The candidates were Anupa Bisarya, Neil Joshi, and Adithya Nair. Based on popular votes, Adithya Nair has been elected the president of FMC 2021-22. Congratulations and hope to see FMC go through another exciting journey of music exploration <3
