Gettysburg College

Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania offers several opportunities for high school students to attend academic camps over the summer months. Subjects include psychology, American government, history, creative writing, or information technology. Please find information to share with your students about our academic camps below:

  • 3D Object Modeling and Printing Camp - Students will study 3D object modeling and printing starting with the basics of a 3D printer. After learning the fundamentals, they will practice designing objects.

  • A hands-on summer camp for fashion-forward teens who are fascinated by all things style, design, and branding. Project Fashion’s holistic approach and experiential learning makes it unlike any other summer camp.

New York University

  • Tisch Summer High School Program: The Spring Future Artists Programs are free of charge and for groups traditionally underrepresented in the media industry. These programs require a 14-week commitment on Saturdays from early February through mid-May and are taught by faculty from the undergraduate departments.

  • Steinhardt's Saturday Art Workshop: Saturday Art Workshop is an 9-week program that allows students to infuse issues of social justice into a dynamic art-making practice. Explore significant social themes while drawing upon a rich array of innovative, multidisciplinary approaches to visually express your ideas.

  • MPAP: Expand your skills with one of NYU Steinhardt's noncredit summer programs for high school students interested in art, music, and theater.

  • Summer Art Intensive: Located in NYU’s internationally recognized Art and Art Professions department, this 3-week program is designed to provide students interested in the broad scope of art an introduction to the experience of being an art student at a prestigious New York City institution.

SCAD

This summer, explore new avenues of artistic development and spark your imagination at The University for Creative Careers. SCAD offers summer programs for high school students of all ages to pursue art and design disciplines while working alongside peers from all over the world. Carnegie Mellon University School of Art Pre-College

The Carnegie Mellon Pre-College programs provide learning and development opportunities for high school students both inside and outside of the classroom.

Their Pre-College program, which mirrors the undergraduate experience, gives rising juniors and seniors the opportunity to explore their interests while receiving instruction from acclaimed Carnegie Mellon faculty and staff.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a robust student experience which is curated by Student Affairs staff and a team of residential staff who are current Carnegie Mellon students.
