"One accomplishment that means a lot to me is finding my voice through writing, especially in pieces centered around healing. Writing has taught me the importance of empathy, listening, and holding space for others during their hardest moments. Those same lessons have guided me as I earn my CCMA certification, balance strong academics and a job, and prepare for a future in healthcare.
I invite you to watch the video of me reading this piece, because sometimes hearing the words out loud is where the healing begins. "
