Alternate ELPAC (For SPED students and teachers)
What is the Alternate ELPAC?
The Alternate English Langauge Proficency Assessment for California, often referred to as the Alt ELPAC, is a version of the ELPAC test designed specifically for students with significant cognitive disabilities who are English learners or potential English learners as identified by the Home Language Survey (HLS). Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams need to determine whether or not a student is eligible to take the Alternate ELPAC test.
