FJUHSD Health Services
Fullerton Joint Union High School District - Health Services
Health Services in FJUHSD is supported by Registered Credentialed School Nurses (RNs) and Classified Nurses (LVNs). There are four Registered Credential School Nurses (RCSNs) supporting our 8 high school sites in addition to ten full Time or parttime Classified Nurses (LVNs). The nurses of FJUHSD provide developmentally appropriate on going care to our student population. They provide routine first aid, medication administration. In addition, they assist students and families with acute and chronic health needs as well as providing specialized health care procedures when indicated, using Evidence Based Practice.
In addition, RCSNs serve as a resource to the administration, staff, parents, and students on issues of environment and safety. They make referrals to community services that positively impact the individual student. The assess for communicable disease and report any incidence of concern to the appropriate authorities. They collaborate with community health partners to stay abreast of the resources available and latest in health sciences that affect our school community.
Our Mission:
