In accordance with California Health and Safety Code 120375, documentation of a student's immunizations are required for entry into Fullerton Joint Union High School District. California immunization law requires the follow up on immunization deficiencies. Your child must be current in their immunizations for entry into a California school.
If your child is not current and up to date on their immunizations, you will be notified. Per California law, students who fall behind in their immunization schedule will have 10 days to receive said immunizations and submit proof to the student's school. Failure to provide proof of immunizations by the time specified on the notification will result in exclusion (not allow to attend) from the school as required by the State of California.
Please note, as of January 2016, non medical vaccine exemptions are no longer accepted for school entry. Any medical exemption for a vaccine must be submitted by a students provider to CAIR-ME (these are not provided by the school).
