Students explored how art can shape and strengthen communities. After researching well-known U.S. Landmarks, students created their own landmark sculptures using clay. Through this project, students considered how public art can represent history, identity, and pride within a community. 

Second graders take on a creative challenge to design a clever disguise for a turkey. Students begin by sketching their idea and listing the materials they will need before building. This project strengthens planning, problem-solving, and imagination as they bring their disguises to life.
