After reading What If You Had Animal Ears?, our multiage students got creative in the Makerspace by designing their own animal-inspired ears! As part of their animal science unit, students explored how different animals use their ears to hear, communicate, and survive in their environments. Using craft materials, they built and wore their own versions of animal ears, comparing how size, shape, and position affect hearing. Check out the photos to see their wild and wonderful designs!
A group of multiagers took a hands-on journey to space by building a life-sized rocketship out of cardboard in the Makerspace! As part of their astronomy unit, they explored what astronauts need in space and worked together to design and construct their very own spacecraft. After completing their mission, they brought the rocketship back to their classroom, where it serves as a reading nook. Check out the photos to see their creativity take flight! 🚀✨
