Covenant and UU
Unitarian Universalism is a covenantal religion. This means we are a democratically governed denomination which is committed to following a covenant, or set of promises, which ensure right relations between people.
Each year all of our Religious Exploration groups create a covenant describing how they agree to ‘be together’ in their Religious Exploration group and at church. Additionally, the CYRE Team created a Behavior Covenant for our children, youth, and families.
The CYRE Team is committed to providing a welcoming and safe environment for all of our children, youth and families. Please take the time to read over the CYRE Behavior Covenant with your family.
Additionally, please review this list of things which do and don't belong at First U.
By being in covenant we believe all of our children, youth, and adults will feel safe and welcome at First U!
