Seasonal Event

Seasonal Walk (the Louise Walk) - Wyoming, Delaware

This event is hosted on the Online Start Box (OSB). The walk offers 5km and 10km distances and is rated 1A. Wyoming is a small town in Kent County, Delaware, named after the Wyoming Valley in Pennsylvania. There are many lovely homes as well as wooded park trails in this historic railroad town. Special Programs associated with this walk are Par-for-the-Course, Town halls/City Halls, and Walking with America's Veterans.

This walk is dedicated to Louise Fair, a founding member of the First State Webfooters (1981). Louise has lived in Wyoming since 1974 and this walk takes you to many of her favorite spots. Louise, who is in her 90s, still walks daily in Wyoming and is a valued and active member of the Webbys!

The Louise Walk was originally created for the Atlantic Regional Conference, hosted by the First State Webfooters in April 2024.
