Abby O'Farmer - Abby graduated from Centenary University with a BA in Theater Arts with a concentration in Acting. While living on the east coast, Abby continued her training at Actors Connection in NYC and The New York Film Academy. She has appeared as a background actor in numerous films and television series, the most notable of which include the miniseries Mildred Pierce, the Amazing Spider Man 2, The Other Woman, Robot and Frank, and The Knick. She has also acted in many small independent productions. Abby moved to California almost four years ago. During COVID, she performed in virtual plays. She is very happy to be performing live again. She has been a scare actor for the last two Hollow Scream seasons at Sea World and has worked as a model. She was last seen in The Circle Players’ production of Old Time Radio Show 2.
Ali Guadagnoli - Ali is an aspiring actor with a love for theater, film, and television. She has always loved to act and did theater in high school but only began acting again less than a year ago. The Hawaiian Heist is her first play with The Circle Players! As someone with a love for comedy, this show has been a fun jumping off point for her. She moved to California in July of 2023 to work in marine biology but has continued to feed her passion for acting as well. She is excited to have the opportunity to be performing in front of a live audience and hopes everyone enjoys the show!
Charisse Zeff - Charisse is thrilled to be returning to The Circle Players. Since starting in theater in 2022, the energy Charisse brings to each role simply adds to the fun. She has appeared as Bertha in Tuna Does Vegas, Queen Elizabeth II in Sorry, Charlie, Detective in Witness for the Prosecution, and Hathi/Bandar-log/Villager in Jungle Book, among others. Charisse portrayed 9 year old Kathy in Father Knows Best in a staged reading with The Circle Players. She will be performing short sketches with Mockingbird Improv. She loves improv, aerobics, and dancing. Creating original inspirations for people with developmental disabilities is something that started during lockdown and is now a passion.
Janet Taylor - Janet is thrilled that dinner theater is back at The Circle Players! She has been in most of the dinner theaters here, as well as many other productions. Janet has also acted for Lamplighters and also works behind the scenes. She just finished scaring people at the Haunted Amusement Park! Now she is working on her Christmas schedule. Enjoy the show!
Jo-Darlene Reardon - Jo-Darlene is a native San Diegan and a retired teacher of Special Education from San Diego Unified School District. She has performed in community theater throughout San Diego County, independent short film projects, Standardized Patient programs through UCSD, The Stepp Program at Cal Western Law, the Azusa Nursing program and as an SP with Strategic Operations at the Naval Medical Readiness Center San Diego. She has performed and directed in the NorthPark Playwrights Festival. Some of her favorite roles include Kate in “All My Sons “(CATS), Mrs. Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie (Vanguard theater), Ethel in “On Golden Pond” (Lamplighters), Doris in “Cemetery Club” (NorthPark Vaudeville) and Jesse in” Calendar Girls” (the Sullivan Players). Jo-Darlene has received two Aubrey Award nominations for Aunt Martha Guest in the House (Lamplighters) and Mme. Pernelle in Molier’s “Tarfuffe” (Coronado Playhouse). She has been awarded best actress and director as Carrie in” You only Get One” and best director for “Eva Turns Fifty” (NorthPark Playwrights Festival). She was assistant director for “Trip to Bountiful” at Lamplighters. Played Katie, the Irish maid in “Meet me in St Louis” for the St. Sophia Youth Drama Ministry. Last seen at Lamplighters as Isobel Lomax in “Kitchen Witches.” Beginning in 2012, She has been teaching an acting workshop for seniors through “ Oasis” now located in Grossmont Center.
Kimberly Sellers - Kimberly Sellers - Kimberly loves doing theater. She has been in several plays around San Diego such as the Lyceum, Lamplighters, Community Actors Theater, Vaudeville Theater, and Innovative Theater. This is Kimberly's third show with The Circle Players.
Maxine Levaren - Maxine Levaren is thrilled to be back with Circle Players. She has performed spicy monologues in The Reindeer Monologues with Different Stages and The Vagina Monologues with Inner Mission Productions. She has also played a wide variety of characters – Mother Teresa in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot with Trinity Theatre Company, Norleen in Mama Won’t Fly with North Park Vaudeville, and several turns as Emilia the Abbess in Comedy of Errors. Looking forward to more mysteries, radio shows and readings with this amazing group.
Michelle Osorio - Michelle has been acting for 30 years and singing for even longer! She majored in Musical Theater at the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts. This is her second play with The Circle Players, with her first being Old Time Radio Show 2 earlier this year. Michelle recently filmed a singing role in Secret CEO Santa coming soon. She also just completed a stint as a host and singer at The Nightmare Before Halloween Bar at Bang on 5th in downtown San Diego. What's next? She'll be performing again as a caroler in a Victorian a cappella quartet called Santa Ana’s Little Helpers as well as her new group, The Candlelight Carolers! You can catch them performing all over Southern California this holiday season, including aboard the LA Metrolink for the return of their Holiday Express Train! Her weirdest credit is being hired to sing 5 Spanish Electric Dance Music songs last year for a Polish TV network. She likes to imagine her songs will one day play over an emotional breakup scene in the Polish version of The Bachelor. Steve Perdue - Steve Perdue is a retired Enlisted U.S. Navy and Combat Vietnam Veteran. He was awarded two Purple Hearts. the Bronze Star, and numerous other medals and awards. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology, and a master's degree in education teaching at the college level for over 14 years. Steve has acted in several plays to include The Circle Players.
Susan Cody - Susan is a retired Registered Nurse who worked a total of 47 years in the medical field, retiring in 2016. She has performed in the San Diego Senior Follies, sung with the California Girls, Joanie and the Jeanies, and The Malt Shop Girls, at the San Diego County fair, at December Nights in Balboa Park, and in karaoke and cabaret. Susan enjoys gardening, working on home projects, and cooking and baking. She is a member of the Sons of Norway, a fraternal and cultural organization, and House of Norway in Balboa Park.

Kathie Perdue - Acting and singing have been a passion of mine for many years. I was also a professional roller skater in my teens through my late 20’s. In the late 70’s I toured with a ladies trio called the Joy Singers traveling up and down the West Coast singing in local Churches and military bases. I have trained at several drama workshops through California, Washington State and Texas. I’ve also trained for Voiceovers and Commercials. I have also been involved in Animatronics. I love all aspects of theater except backstage. Being involved in the Christian community at Shadow Mountain Community Church has been most rewarding. The weekly dramas and holiday shows we used to do were shown all over the world. I have met so many people from all over the world. It’s sad that ended in 2007.Now I am involved in The Circle Players theater group which has been a real joy and a lot of fun. It’s nice to bring our shows to the San Diego people. The show must go on!!!

Danny Aguayo - Danny has worked in the Audio/Visual department in some capacity for theaters over the past two and a half years. Such works include "The Artificial Jungle" and "N" at Point Loma Playhouse as well as "Brighton Beach Memoirs" for Lamplighters. He graduated at San Diego SCPA in 2022 with a major in Cinematic Arts. At SCPA he primarily was an editor working on projects such as "Jeremy Baker Tries to Live", "Fire in The Heart", and "The MCU Effect". He is honored to be working with The Circle Players.

Shyanne Keeran - Shyanne Keeran is a performer originally from Temecula Ca. She has performed in over 25 productions, and been behind the scenes many times. Some of her favorite works include, Cinderella in Into The Woods (MSJC), Clara in Nutcracker The Musical (Ivy Players) Bet/Ms.Sowerberry in Oliver The Musical (Ivy Players). Shyanne is extremely proud of the cast and crew of this show.
DIRECTOR
Joel Gossett - Joel is the Artistic Director and founder of The Circle Players. This is the 17th show he has directed since their first show in 2015. He has directed and performed with many other theater companies throughout Southern California with over 40 production credits to his name. He has also appeared in motion pictures, short films and TV commercials. Originally planned for the fall of 2020, but cancelled due to circumstances, The Hawaiian Heist is a fun show, and it has been a pleasure to direct this wonderfully talented cast. ENJOY!
