The Circle Players is home to a very diverse community of passionate actors. I have been acting on stage since I was a child, but my first performance on stage as an adult was with The Circle Players. I had the wonderful opportunity of playing Martin Luther in "The Trial of Martin Luther." I’ve gone on to perform in various productions throughout San Diego and with The Circle Players, but working with the director, Joel Gossett, on The Trial of Martin Luther is what reignited my passion for the stage.
Though I mostly focus on film and television acting now, The Circle Players will always have a special place in my heart. I encourage all actors with a passion for the stage to audition and participate in The Circle Player productions! You won’t regret it!
Thank you to Joel Gossett and all the wonderful artists who make these shows possible!

I thoroughly enjoyed my times at The Circle Players! Joel Gossett, the director, is easy to work with and the shows are done with fun, humor and talent. I’d encourage anyone looking for a positive theatre experience to audition or sign on to crew!!

If you're looking for some great fun in your life, then you really need to come out and audition for the next performance show with The Circle Players. I have been in four of their shows and each one has been a blast. You not only learn some great acting skills from a talented Director but make some great friends with all the cast and crew as well.

I had a fantastic time with The Circle Players. I had the pleasure of participating in their "Old Time Radio Show 2" production. Not only did I meet a great group of castmates, but every time we rehearsed or had a table read with the scripts, Director Joel Gossett would give small little historical anecdotes pertaining to the period of radio that we were re-producing. It was a history lesson wrapped into a drama-class. I LOVED IT!!
Additionally, performing on a live stage really helped me with my confidence in analyzing scripts and honing my LISTENING skills as a performer. I've been pursuing a voiceover career, and each time I'm coached, directed, or hired for a gig, I apply a couple of little tricks I learned with The Circle Players.

I recently acted in The Circle Players' production of the Hawaiian Heist and had a blast! I only recently got back into acting, and the cast and crew made me feel very quickly welcomed. By the end, we all felt close and could not believe it was over. The director was phenomenal. He was organized and communicative as well as understanding and very helpful. He and the assistant director made the whole thing even more terrific. The whole experience was so much fun. It was a great learning environment for me, where I felt comfortable, safe, and appreciated. As a young actor, I couldn't have asked for a better first adventure back into acting. I cannot wait to come back soon to audition for their next play.
