New for 2027

The National office has updated the list of categories and definitions. Look in particular at Photography, Experimental Photography and Digital Drawing, Painting & Collage categories. See also the particular differences between Sculpture (fully in-the-round) and Mixed Media (hangs on a wall and still includes fiber-based wall works)

National Scholastic Art Awards raised the entry fees. The new rates are $15 per individual entry and $40 per senior portfolio. Students will be asked to pay their fee in their entry dashboard but tell them to "skip" this and leave it unpaid, as our Affiliate Chair will mark all Lorain Co. Region entries "paid" upon close of registration in December. 

Our Lorain County Region sponsor has changed. After decades of support, Nordson Corporation is no longer our sponser. The Lorain County Community College and Stocker Arts Center and Stocker Foundation have graciously offered to be our new sponsor the entire show this season.
