Director of Production (Staging and Producer)
Zach is beyond excited to return for another season with the Finneytown High School theatre community! As a Cincinnati native, he has been involved in the arts for most of his life taking on various acting and leadership roles in the Drama Club and showchoir of his alma mater—Colerain High School. Upon graduation, Zach furthered his education at Bowling Green State University (BGSU) where he obtained a degree in Integrated Language Arts education. While a student, he was involved in Ten40 Acapella, New Student Orientation, the Office of Residence Life, and various other campus organizations. He ended his college career with the honor of serving as the university’s famous mascot—Freddie Falcon. Zach’s professional career began at Wapakoneta High School where he served as a high school English, speech, and theatre teacher for four years. Aside from teaching, Zach worked as the co-director and choreographer for Wapakoneta’s Theatre Arts Club, while also taking on advisory roles in the district’s showchoirs. Currently, he serves as both an advisor and professor at the University of Cincinnati. Zach is ecstatic to continue working in the world of theatre alongside the passionate students of Finneytown High!
Director of Music (Vocals and Choreography)
Ariel is overjoyed to return to Finneytown High School Theatre as the Vocal Director and Costume Coordinator. Starting piano at age 6 and singing with the church choir at 7, it’s safe to say music has been a lifelong passion. Ariel attended Colerain High School, performing in musicals and plays as well as fulfilling various leadership positions within the Drama Club, choirs, symphony, and marching band. After high school, Ariel went to Miami University, earning a degree in Middle Childhood Education. While there, she helped the Theater Department with advertising/promotions allowing her to continue working with the arts. She also sang in her college church band where she took over as the Music Director during her senior year and the year after graduation. After that experience, Ariel moved back to Cincinnati and started working in the pulmonary office at The Christ Hospital. She has since left the hospital to become a fourth-grade teacher at a local private school and has been pursuing personal music and artistic projects. Ariel is humbled and overjoyed to return as the Vocal Director and Costume Coordinator and cannot wait to jump back in the arms of theatre with the wonderfully talented Finneytown High School students!
