Go to enterfinland.fi
Click “Create a user account” on the top left bar of the website
Before creating account on EnterFinland:
Partners should create a list of new emails for students with a standardized format such as name.surname@gmail.com (nghia.lytm@gmail.com), so that they can use it throughout the period of staying and studying in Finland.
Delegate the account and password to students after finishing the RP process
Use this email to extend the validity of RP
Choose 'Create an account using your email address'
Fill in information in English 1: Enter Middle name and First name (Tran Minh Nghia) 2: Enter Last name (Ly)Set up the Password
First Log in →Receive 6-digit code via email for verification

For High School Students:
- Choose Secondary Education
- Choose General upper secondary
- Type of studies: choose Studies leading to a degree or vocational qualification
- Choose Matriculation examination (for High School Students)
- Language is Finnish
- The start date of the program written on the acceptance letter (E.g. 01.08.202x)
- The estimated duration of Highschool is 3 years
For Vocational Students:
- Choose Higher Education
- Choose The Finnish institution from the list. Note: If you find the vocational school in the list of Schools, choose it. If not (Like STEP), choose "Other educational institutions" and it will appear an option to specify the school name.
- Type of studies: choose Studies leading to a degree or vocational qualification
- Choose Vocational qualification (for Vocational School Students)
- Language is Finnish
- The start date of the program written on the acceptance letter (E.g. 01.08.202x)
- The estimated duration of Vocational school is 3 years

- The validity of Insurance certificate lasts for one year and can be extended each year
- Convert USD to EUR according to the current exchange rate while filling in EnterFinland
- Should purchase the package with deductible rate 0
Note:
- The applicant should have valid passport with at least six months of validity. We recommend to renew your passport for longer validity (e.g. 5-10 years).
- The applicant can upload 01 attachment for each type of documents. As e result, please use PDF to combine multi-same kind of documents into 01 file.
- Extra documents that support for the Resident Permit Application.
- Tick this box if the applicant would like to pay the processing fee at the embassy/consulate/ service point.
Note:
- After the applicant successfully paid the processing fee and submit the application, print and bring the receipt and the application confirmation together with other documents to the embassy/consulate/ service point
