General Notice

• The following instructions are the basic documents to prepare, based on information from the official Migri.fi website and Finest Future's experiences when applying for a Resident Permit for Vietnamese students.

• The following instructions are based on the experience of applying for a RP in Vietnam, please compare with the local law system and the local Finnish Embassy to prepare documents.

• All outcomes related to the residence permit are at the discretion of Migri in Finland, and not within the jurisdiction of Finest Future.

• The Finest Future timeline is the expected timeline for students to enter the August semester. If the time to complete the application is later than the expected time, the student can still enroll in the October semester (there will be a new admission every two months).

• Finest Future's services do NOT include individual consultation on Finnish Residence Permit applications.

Introduction to Finland Resident Permit 

• For Students outside of Europe who are accepted to study at a high school/university in Finland for a program lasting more than 03 (three) months.
• The resident permit value: Holders of a Finnish residence permit card are entitled to enter and stay in Finland for the period specified on the card. The cardholder is entitled to travel between countries of the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA) without having to apply for a visa (Visa) or any other documents.
• The validity of resident permit: Residence card validity period can be from 1 to 3 years depending on the preference of the applicant when applying. The difference between the two options is the sum of money for the financial proof. Note: The duration of the residence card cannot be longer than the duration of the study program. For example, students enrolled in a one-year program will only be issued a residence card valid for up to one year.
• Location to apply for Resident Permit:  Search for the location of the Embassy of Finland in your residence country 
• Application Fee: 350 Euros for applicants over 18 years old and 240 EUR for applicants under 18 years old. Payment method: online by international payment card.
