Directors
Kevin Manley, is in his 31st year of teaching with Findlay City Schools where he directs three concert choirs and the Findlay First Edition show choir. His concert choirs have consistently earned Superior Ratings at Ohio Music Education Association Adjudicated Events, and he has been a clinician at the OMEA State Convention. During his 17 years as director of Findlay First Edition, the group was the FAME New York Grand Champion, FAME Chicago Grand Champion, as well as 42 other Grand Championships and numerous caption awards for Best Vocals, Best Choreography, and Best Instrumental Combo. Kevin is a member of OMEA and ACDA. He holds a BM and MM in Choral Music Education from Bowling Green State University. He has been named the Findlay Rotary Club teacher of the year, the Findlay High School Teacher of the Year, and the Three Rivers Athletic Conference Girls Golf Coach of the Year.
Alycia Fox, a 2006 graduate of Findlay High School, is the Director of The Boingers with Findlay First Edition. She is currently in her 10th year of teaching in Findlay City Schools, teaching elementary music, and is currently the vocal music teacher at Glenwood Middle School. She holds a music education degree from Bluffton University as well as a reading degree from the University of Findlay. Aside from working with First Edition, Alycia is also in her eleventh year as assistant director of Findlay High school’s Freshman Show Choir, Voices in Perfection. Mrs. Fox is a private instructor on both clarinet and saxophone. She is also a director of a third through fifth grade children’s choir at her church. Alycia is an alumni of Findlay First Edition, where she was a member of the Boingers as well as being a singer/dancer.
andrew haines, Choreographer
Andrew Haines, is in his 39th year as a freelance choreographer and has worked extensively throughout the world of show choir. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in business, he began choreographing to pay for college. As a self-taught dancer, he has achieved recognition for his creativity, wit, and ability to educate through the art of dance. Andrew has choreographed over 100 musicals, state pageants for the Miss America program, and USO shows overseas. His work has claimed numerous awards over the years, including 17 national show choir championships with groups from Grosse Pointe South High School in Michigan, Center Grove High School in Indiana, Findlay High School in Ohio, Cedar Rapids Jefferson in Iowa, Manchester High School in Virginia and Broughton High School in North Carolina.
