State Convention

At state convention we were accompanied by our forestry team, Vet Science team, F.A.R.M for Kids team, Scrapbook team, Hall of chapter team, BBQ team, and a couple members that participated in the mullet contest.

Fair

Our barn members attended the Washington State Spring Fair at the North West Jr Livestock Show. Our members worked long hours working their animals and talking with the public.

Awards:

Landon Johnson - Grand Champion FFA Steer, Reserve Champion Senior Steer Showmanship, Overall Champion Record Book for all divisions of FFA.

Jose Nevarez - Reserve Class champion Steer, Reserve Champion Novice Steer Showman, 2nd place Novice Steer record book.

Mikaylah Kelemen - Walt Bergman Inspirational Award, 1st place FFA Senior record book for hogs.

Margarita Rios - 2nd place FFA Senior hog record books for hogs

Jordon Holper - Reserve class champion of his class

both Steer and Hog students won herdsmanship for our chapter.

Districts

Mikaylah Kelemen competed in exempt speaking and placed 5th as runner up.

Vet Science Comp

We had 2 Vet- Sci teams go to South Kitsap High School on Saturday, March 16th. Both teams did great and had lots of fun!

F.A.R.M for Kids

Forestry Practice

Our Forestry team went out and practiced tree ID and Tiber cruising. They had lots of fun and are working diligently for their state competition on March 23rd.
